I have a 1996 jimmy, 4.3l. it will not start untill you give it a squart of gass in the intake, then it runs, sometimes stalls when driving, then back to hard starting again. hot or cold. lots of fuel presure, 47 psi. no engine codes. any idea?

Try replacing the coolent temp sensor.

I dont bite...much

I have a 96 blazer--same motor same problems. Fuel pump had been replaced already but found out it was a used one-just put a new one in--problem solved.We were getting good pressure but the pump was getting weak.People will tell you to change every sensor there is but changing all of them is way more money than a new fuel pump.
