I accidentally gave my 11 month old son prednisolone by mistake about 1.5ml. will he be ok.

fool, that drug stays in the system a while.. it suppresses the immune system to fight of a broad range of diseases, tell your doctor..who cares you made the mistake, now fix it.

- Backpack, sorry I went off. Might be a good thing that you posted it here if you didn't have a clue what to do - which was better than doing nothing. Let us know what the outcome is.

- Yeah - I was quite worried after getting all these nasty answers - rang the helpline - he's fine. they were his drugs for asthma related stuff anyway, but the bottles look very similar - bit dumb - but got away with it ok....

How do you accidentally give your child any drugs!?

I gave you a minus for wasting time asking people who don't have a clue instead of either heading to the nearest hospital or calling a medical helpline for advice.

- that is a small amount of a steroid my sone was fatally sick and that was one of his daily meds so if he weighs enough i think its a safe dose
