Even though I try not to eat fast food anymore, I'll attempt to give you an answer. I think McDonald's is more popular that Burger King's because of their marketing. From what I can remember Burger King has better food quality, But my overall bet is on McDonald's. How about you?

McDonald's hands down. I don't know if its different overseas, but I have NEVER gotten good service here in Australia. Last time I went there. I was in line for 20 minutes, and there was no one in front of me. My milk shake was off, and they got my order wrong. Bring on the golden arches.
