  • Often rainy. usually depressing looking. but the city is always busy and energetic. people are really nice, although it looks pretty dangerous in some places, but its not that bad. there are tons and tons of ongoings and activities going on each week. you can pretty much find anything of everything in seattle and in cities around, if you're coming to visit I strongly encourage you to visit bellevue, there is even more there.
  • Sleepless.
  • Seattle is often quite a happy city, despite the frequent rain. The city is often quite crowded with people going to and from Pike Place Market and the department stores. You will occasionally see the bum here and there asking for money but they don't bother you if you just ignore them. There's always something to do there; they even have a gameworks (arcade) which is A-mazing! :) As for the aroma goes, I'm not able to smell any pollution in the air. The people are quite friendly for the most part. hope that helped :)
  • My aunt loves the city. Weather wise it resembles England yo...
  • In all aspects? That is a wide open question. We have about 700,000 in Seattle proper, about 3 million in the immediate Puget Sound, and I think about 5.5 million in the Greater Puget Sound. From Seattle you can be in mountains in an hour and to the Pacific in about 3 hours. And the Puget Sound is right here. We have two primary lakes and some of the longest floating bridges in the world. Because of the Sound and the Lakes, there are only four freeways. The further south you go, the more industrial, the further north, the more commercial and residential. We have a large immigrant population so we get a large mix of culture. Crime is mostly low, education is considered important. In all aspects, I'd say we are diverse.
  • Seattle is a great city.
  • It's a good place to live in for one or two years, if you're really open-minded, liberal, vegan/vegetaran, into tons and tons of diverse restaurants and ethnic groups, and want the excitements of a city but with the cozyness of a town. I'd say its a small city, with tons and tons of bookstores, and a progressive social environment.
