I know I put this question in the wrong category.I typed birds in the search and didn't look at what came up and I posted it. To late to change what I did.I will take a slap on the wrist for that one. have a good day.

have you ever noteced that if you put a queston in the wrong catagory it some how ends up in the right one??? and for the question i have no clue i guess its just a bird thing. birds are werid.

Many birds will just feel the need to get to nesting and lay eggs. They aren't fertile but it doesn't stop the hormones from telling the female bird that she should be motherly. It's not just chickens and ducks that lay, many parrots and other birds will lay with no mate.

i know this is not the right place to ask , and i know this is a dumb question But....are the eggs fertilized before or after they are laid.You know where Im coming from ,right? (smile)
