If you were in a desert & had no water to drink, would you drink your own urine for hydration? It is safe as long as it is fresh.

Urophagia -- the act of drinking urine -- is safe as long as the urinating individual is healthy. In general, if the person is healthy, then their urine is sterile.

Well, I know that's what castaways do. It's less harmful than sea water. Yeah, I'd hold my nose and go for it.

If it would save my life, you bet I would. Urine is sterile until it hits the air anyway. I would just hold my nose and gulp it down. Talk about in one end and out the other!! haha

too salty,it would just make you more thirsty surely,i reckon it'd be ok for a few days to survive on but after that youre a gonna:) i have never been in a desert so this is my assumption
