I can understand why many kids have difficulty with homework considering the extent and amount they are quite often given to do on top of a day that's been loaded with studies and school work. When I consider that many kids then come home to face unpleasant situations, lack of resources and a pile of chores, I can honestly say I do not begrudge their asking for help with a homework challenge. . Many have no other immediate guidance or assistance available to them at the time of asking and I feel it's far better for them to come online and seek the assistance they need, than to deny they need it, be unwilling to ask for it, and find themself stuck on it and unable to move on from it. . We adults have lived life, yet look around and see the many questions we ask in order to seek help in overcoming challenges we may be facing. I see no kids of the world come on here and say 'hey you lived life today and you should've learnt that lesson so we don't think you should be here asking for help with it' . I guess it's perspective really and how one looks at things, and this is just how i look at it. I'm not saying people should give direct answers to homework questions, but it would surely be helpful and kind to offer an example or a way of working on it, that may encourage the asker to continue on and overcome the challenge :)

Yes. However, I am more than willing to HELP someone who has at least attempted the homework and who has listed the work they have done. What I am not willing to do is complete their entire homework, thereby cheating them out of the whole learning process that is the point of the homework in the first place.
