Its called a promise or purity ring as well! It is a promise you make either to yourself or to another person to stay pure until marriage!

I believe its a lock and the man who marries you gets the key and then sex happens sure would be nice if we were born with one lol!

I'm guessing here (because I've never been that kind of person) that a chastidy ring is something that symolises that you aren't having sex until you've found the right person.

Basically, it's a trouble-free way to repel any guy.
