What do you have on-hand - in your home - right now, which you feel like making or having? What do you feel like having or making? Do you feel like going to the store? Do you want to go out to eat? At this time of the month - AND with the high price of gas - what is your budget? Many times it depends on what we're in the mood for or what I feel like making. With a pantry, freezer and refrigerator "full of food", at times "there just isn't anything to eat" - meaning: I just don't feel like cooking or making anything - not even a toasted bagel with a slice of cheese. So, I go out or I ask "THE Goddess" (the lady in my life) what to do about dinner? - or any meal for that matter. We discuss it and decide. Sometimes it comes down to, ". . . I don't know. What do you want to do? . . ." " . . . Well, I don't know. What do you want to do? . . . " ". . . I don't care. I asked you first. . . ." ---I'm sue you've been through that routine. At times she makes dinner for me - which is A GREAT change of pace for me! I TOTALLY LOVE when others cook for me! BUT it just doesn't happen often enough. Many times we go to a restaurant, get pizza or Chinese food "for the gang" - family or friends. AND NOT OFTEN ENOUGH: someone brings the meal to the house and we sit around "chewing the fat". AND at other times we go to our friends or relatives homes to eat with them. Sooooo it's sort of a mixed-bag, isn't it? Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!
