A little prune juice can clear that right up.

You can feed prunes from a jar or prune juice. He could be severely dehydrated too. Remote as this possibility may be, it does exist. I really would talk to his doctor about this if I were you.

My son was an every-other-day pooper! The doc said it was normal for him. I did give him fruit juices and extra fluids to insure he wasn't dehydrated, and let him grow! He is still the same at 26. Bowel habits can be as different for individuals as anything else.

Up his intake of fluids and give him some mild laxatives such as prune juice (as suggested by several) or some fish oil. And use some glycerine suppositories if he has not pooed by the end of the day. It is not good for him to not go to the toilet every day. It can ruin his bowel tone. Speak to your doctor too. Sometimes formula is the problem. If so, you can get formulas that have additives to counteract the constipation.
