I use Family Tree Maker, and have found it capable of everything I've ever needed it to do.

Have always had my genealogy info in Family Tree Maker. (usually on OLD versions too) :) -- Now, there are 2 things driving me to change or migrate or upgrade. Not sure which way I'll go. Hoping to hear more from others on family history software you're using. -- 1) Here I am - decades after I started researching - with a "big project" in front of me - to take all my years of "stuff" in FTM, my other files and you don't want to know how many boxes and file folders, binders, etc - and enter that - WITH PROPER SOURCING and more personal notes - into whatever I now migrate to. A big step since I'll "stick with" whatever I do next. -- 2) That said, also want to create and share vs collect and organize only - so want more abilities to "attach" digital files, create/run reports, make charts, create booklets and profiles, etc. -- So while FTM 2008 scared me when it first came out, an offer at WorldVitalRecords brought me FTM vers 16 so have that here. But also got Roots Magic and want to look at Legacy and The Master Genealogist too. -- Like I said - a big step - but needs doing - so hoping to get more input on FamilyTreeMaker - Roots Magic - Legacy and The Master Genealogist at a minimum. Anyone using those?
