Where do subway and construction companies get those tunnel drilling machines? What does one cost? What sort of fuel does it use?

    Krupp and Herrenknecht are (at least in Europe/Germany) maker of this shield tunneling gear. Most certainly there are more in America and Japan. We are certainly talking tens of Millions of Euros a piece. And certainly they are powered by electricity.
