  • You should have to pay the same as any other roommate. That wouldnt be fair to the one he has now unless you are doing something extra like all of the cooking and cleaning. Giving your BF sex doesnt count.
  • I would agree with the first answer, most definitely, with ONE exception: Will you be sharing the bedroom with the BF? If so, perhaps you should pay less than the roomie who has the bonus of his own private space...
  • Absolutely not. You want to move in to an already crowded space, and pay LESS to live there than someone who was living there long before you? That's ridiculous. The roomate lives there just as much as your boyfriend. Why should the roomate have to pay more IN HIS OWN HOME than you do, just because you're the girlfriend?
  • Why? If all three of u r sharing a room, u should all pay the same - or will u be sharing a bed with your bf while the other person is there too? Maybe then u should pay less.
  • I would share a bedroom w/ my bf...and i know i would clean and cook more than the roommate - i already do! I also already buy food and decorative things for the house. Plus the roommate is a slob. And I dont have any of my own space. My bf owns the house so he would be keeping the extra cash that we pay for rent building equity. I would definitely pay for utilities and probably buy new furniture for the living room. I just think $700 (equal to what the roomate pays) is a little high for what I do and plan to do.
