Ladera is not very close to Marigot Bay - 50 minutes drive or so! Do you want a large or smaller, more secluded place to stay? There is a lovely bed and breakfast called Nature's Paradise in Marigot Bay, way up on the cliffs overlooking the Caribbean. It's up a rocky, steep road, which is easily handled by renting a 4 X 4. Down in Marigot Bay itself, there is plenty to do and several good restaurants.
