Is that NY City or New York State in general. If you are talking the City, try going up to Lake Placid and taking in the Olympic Village, Santa's shop, or up the ski jump towers. With the upcomming winter Olympics you may even get the chance to see some jumpers practicing. I'm not for sure, but that may be more than 150 miles.

The Poconos Going tubing on the the delaware...hike the appalachian trail... Dorney Park in Allentown Pa...its an amusement park... Enjoy and have a blast.

The Catskills are beautiful the drive along the Delaware river north is also very nice.

well.. maybe Boston although it's a little more than 150 miles i think... but if u can i would go to Portland Maine.. it's amazing.. the sea food there is sooo good and the bar seen at night is amazing in the oldport area! check it out!
