Nicknames are usually best if someone else sticks them on you (they also tend to STICK better when someone else does it). But, the only one I ever picked for myself came from back in the CB radio days (I know ... what's THAT?, LoL), and that one was "the Daydreamer", which all of my friends said fit me just perfect ... so I'll stick with that one. My nickname (given to me in high school) was "Penny", which was just a take on my last name (and kinda weird, for a guy). But, most people actually thought it was because I was worth no more than 1 cent! In my work career, it was "Captain", because any problem that came up, they called me to fix it. I am still called Captain by most people I know, from my work-life.
