  • I would take that into a shop. Unless you have a mechanical background, a jack, jack stands, LOTS of time, the proper tools, etc. You need to disconnect the brake lines (after bleeding them) from the brakes themselves, then all the way up to the master cylinder. The hard part is routing the new lines properly, priming them, connecting them, etc. You need two people when you reconnect them. It sounds easy, but its not. Also, add the fact that your truck is 14 years old. There will be rust, dirt, etc all throughout the area making it harder to do the job. If you attempt this, make sure you clean out the area first so it's easier to work in. Good luck, Hope this helps
