Why are people afraid to admit when someone of the same sex is good looking? What's wrong with being able to admire the human body?

maybe they dont want people to think that they are homosexual... or maybe they are homosexual and they are afraid of admitting that they think the the same sex is attractive someone will catch on

Well personally I'm not afraid to say that someone of the same sex is good-looking because yeah, I think there's nothing wrong with admiring a person's physical attributes, regardless of their sex. But I think most people aren't really afraid to admit, they probably just want to avoid offending the person. Not all people can take compliments from a person of the same sex, especially if s/he's a stranger.

an artist, or a photographer, or a sculptor, or an illustrator would easily say someone of the same sex is beautiful and handsome. people admire the human body every day.

I agree. As a female, I have no problems admiring another female body, and it is anything but sexual. I find that pregnant women have the most beautiful form and curves. But when I say things like this, I get the dirty, jusgey looks and wonder why it is that someone of the same sex cannot be admired because of their body in a non-sexual way.

PEOPLE TELL ME I AM PRETTY ALL THE TIME AND I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH TELLING OTHER WOMEN THEY ARE PRETTY. I see so many beautiful women and i compliment the ones who are not seeking compliments. In my profession I see 400+ people daily and even the not so pretty ones i have learned to find something beautiful and unique with each one. Life is beautiful even when it feels ugly
