Is it normal for a housefly to die within less than 24 hours of being in a home? I've never killed a fly in my house; I just find them dead in less than a day.

If they are found on the window sills, then they probably got too hot from being in the sunlight through the windows. They only live a couple of days though, so maybe they have just expired naturally.
