Call and check up on them... See if they're around and if they're doing okay... If you get no answer, you can contact someone, whether friend, family, or even dial 911 and let them know you're concerned...

what can one do? one just hopes it wasnt a real question. otherwise, one can only hope they find good counceling.

There isn't anything you can do unless you have the phone number of that person or know where they live, if not all you can do is hope for the best or ask someone that knows the person.

That's a tough one, for sure. Though often I've noticed a question like that comes from someone who has only just logged on. (eg. - They may not have continued with AB after they've been helped through their crisis.) Either way, I send up a prayer for them & their family.

Assuming that they have become deceased, I move on. There is no point in weeping over a dead ally, from a logical perspective it is doubtful that they would desire that in life. A friend of mine recently died in an accident (car accident) and I did not shed a tear, I moved on... there's no sense in staying in the past, especially if it's detrimental to your well being. EDIT: Glad everything's OK Phillis. :3
