ok so i just googled it, here's what i got
    http://www.allaboututi.com/symptoms/do_you.asp
and it seems from what you say, that you probably do have an infection. but not to worry! that site, along with one other i checked, both say they are easily treated with meds (usually relief within a day or two). it says to contact your doctor for antibiotics, but i could swear i have seen commercials for over the counter medicines for urinary tract infections.. also, it would help to make it usual practice to drink lots and lots of water--it's sooo great for you!! and once you start drinking a lotta water, you won't be able to get enough!! :)

Alright here we go! Thanks for everyone's answers...Went to the county hosp. they said it's a large kidney stone, the doc put me on cyprofloxacin 500mg or something like that? and something for the pain, when it starts to hurt real bad! Told me of course to drink lots of water and cranberry juice, but not the cocktail kind right? I feel better now, I lost my ex-wife to Cancer last year at 40 years old and my 16 year daughter is living with me now, I can't leave her, she's just now getting used to no MOM. Thanks again Kitty Kat! God Bless you and all!

Thanks Kitty Kat, It's just that I am very worried, this has lasted for about a week and a half, two days after it started, I saw the doctor and they gave me Septra DS as of last Wednesday, but so far, I'm still urinating blood. I'm going to the county hospital for help, because I lost my job due to this. But of course my health is more important! Thanks for the link as well!!

I'm SO SORRY to hear that!!! After your reply, i read a little bit more on it--it said that if you wait too long, the infection could worsen, spread etc--BUT you said that you went to the doctor two days later. HMM.. of course, I'm definitely no physician, but all I can tell you is to go the hospital/dr tomorrow ASAP (not too worry you) but since I'm sure this is causing you a world of stress, seeing someone asap will help clear it up faster. It could just be a different type of infection and the Septra didn't attack the correct infection. At any rate--DO NOT worry! stress always makes things worse. Go tomorrow and I'm sure you'll feel completely relieved realizing that it was no big deal :) i'm sorry about your job i'm sure it's the last thing you needed..main thing is to get better now though!
