No. they're not victims. no-one told them to do it or forced them to so as it's their choice they are not victims. i'm not sure about the perv thing because if someone is caught watching others having sex they would be arrested but that's because the people don't know about it and haven't consented (i.e. privacy issues) but obviously a porn vid is made to be watched. personally i don't watch porn. i WOULD feel like a perv!! porn isn't just two people in love having normal sex. it is often degrading stuff and usually extreme. i think it's a case of - some people find that a turn on. i suppose it doesn't make them perverts (otherwise there'd be a rather large percentage of the population that are!) i just think that because it's there and people have gotten used to it, it has become acceptable. but it isn't.

I can't label the porn actors and actresses as victims, they are there as a choice either for money or fame. As for the movies...I used to watch them out of curiosity but then I would rather be creative myself in my sex life than rely on someone else's imagination..;-)

It's hard to say. Are you referring to child pornography?
-
No, I'm the victim and whoever it was that forced me to look at it is the pervert. Oh, and the porn actor/actress is also a pervert, btw.

Porn is destructive; art is not. Porn objectifies women and strips them of their agency. Not all women who are part of porn are willing or would be willing given their free will 100% including those who think that participating makes them acceptable, good, whatever due to past abuse. Some porn is artistic and beautifully done, and in no way disgusting. Yet, it's still porn. Differentiating porn from art might seem simple to most people: it’s as simple as clarifying the work’s context or the artist’s intention. There is no simple answer. It's not as simple as the work's and artist's intention. Given this, it's not possible for me to condone any porn since I have no idea what the context was, whether a person involved was 100% willing, etc. That is not to say that some porn pics are not artistic. However, porn videos, it is porn. To answer your question, the question of what is porn has to be posed and answered. Does it make you corrupt morally? No, not necessarily. It does not mean you are not.

YES & NO. it depends on why your watching it. educational purposes maybe????

So if I don't like Paris Hilton I can victimize her? All I have to do is watch her video?
-
If you watch pornography you may turn into a victim as well. Porn knocks you down the social ladder a few pegs....
-
In most porn, they are not victims, they do it for the money. Watching porn does not make you a pervert.

It makes the people in the movie victims of much wrong doing if they have been drugged and/or forced into participating in it. Anyone watching porn involving children should be very well aware it is wrong on every level. Those children are victims and the people watching them are perverts. In general, most people will consider that adult related porn has willing participants and as such they are not considered perverts for viewing such films. I believe my answer is always the case in relation to the victims of porn.
