Absolutely not. Hopeless romantics are rare and wonderful. A true romantic - someone who loves with all their senses - makes you feel whole, valued, and special. It's only when it's coupled with manipulation, insincerity, deception, that it becomes ugly. Anyone who doesn't love you for being a hopeless romantic doesn't love you imho.

No, it is not. It is a sign of great strength to have and hold close any treasured belief of the heart, on a journey through this life...where we fight all the odds, just to survive.

Not weakness, but it can be the cause of much disappointment and pain. I hope your experience is not like that. We need romantics. They keep us from falling into the pit of dull, mundane "practicality". That is a very boring place to be if you are there all the time. "Sing loudly, dance often, hug closely, kiss long, and never apologize for stopping to smell the roses." >> "We may lose, or we may win, but we will never be here again,...so, open up, I'm climbing in... and take it easy".

Being a hopeless romantic is definitely not a sign of weakness. It merely shows your attempt to recapture something so intangible in recent times...A true love story. If anything being a hopeless romantic exemplifies your definitive desires and your endeavor to make them a reality. Making someone feel at the center of your world can feel amazing for both parties
