If you want to use a box that has writing and stuff on it to ship stuff, you just have to make sure that all of the writing is covered up. The best way I've found to do this is to just wrap the box, either cut up and turn a brown paper bag inside out, or use butcher paper (something plain but durable). As far as shipping the cologne, definitely bubble wrap it thoroughly and write "Fragile" on the box!

It is not necessary to cover over all the writing, so long as you have a label on it for the address that is easy to find and read. However, if the reused box originally contained something that is not mailable, then you have to mark out anything that would indicate it was not mailable (like liquor, bleach, gasoline, etc.) or cover with paper. Cologne is mailable, but be sure to put it in something that would protect it from leaking or breaking. I recommend a ziplock bag, then bubble wrap.
