NO! Not if the dress is all black, but if it has some white accents, or you can add something white to the dress such as a belt, then yes!

I don't particularly like shoes to be lighter than the dress unless they are metallic. White shoes make your feet look big.

If you tie it together with jewelry, belt, scarf and white matching purse, you'll be right in style. There is a lot nice chunky white and black jewelry out now.
