No, I've never heard of it until just now.. there's an article online about it. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24982210/ It's scary!! I'm thinking twice about letting my children swim.

No, I don't understand it. I've never even heard of dry drowning or that it existed. And no, I don't know anyone that has lost a family member to it. Very tragic.

If you're worried about your children swimming, enroll them in a water safety program that not only teaches swimming but water safety as well by an approved assocation such as the YMCA. Best defense is always a good offense and in this case, education and teaching yourself about the dangers of swimming.
