My 99' Chevy Lumina's power windows will not roll down, everytime we switch the fuse it instantly blows when we try the windows...what could be happening?

    Get a new car. I know you have the money. Might I suggest a new Honda Civic. It is cheap, easy to maintain, and you have excellent gas mileage(30-35 mpg) I might also mention that it is good for the environment. I know how you love our environment and all...

    there is a short to ground before the load (ATech) You press the switch and the wire is shorted before it reaches the window motor. Also the resitance is probably to low allowing to much current.
