at my old job, my boss loved to do it, cuz it made him feel better about himself.

Yup I have unfortunately. I've been tolerating my supervisor / team-leader (same person different roles at times), not just asking or suggesting but TELLING me I should relocate to an office branch in my local area rather than where I a right now for work. This person has done it so much I felt like I was being harassed and bullied. I talked to a couple of colleagues and of course, it got out and got around like nobody's business (quite sadly) and my supervisor / team-leader brought it up with me and when I said I FELT like I was being bullied / belittled etc, she changed expression and mannerism and said 'I never harassed you'. No, she may not have, but that doesn't mean it's going to stop or protect me from FEELING like I've been harassed and bullied... Sad, sad sad...
