Do finance companies always take you to court for balanced owed after repossession and auction of the car?

    Not always because it depends on what the balance is after the auction of the car, the higher the balance the more likely they are to come and get it.

    Some do, some do not. read your contract. if the situation, you stated, is in your signed contract, finance companies will do whatever is necessary to collect any owed balances, even after repossession.

    What they collect, is probably used for their annual Christmas party.

    Not always- there may not be enough owed to be worth the expense of going to court- but do not be surprised if the do anyway.
