I think the Hogans are just another example of a celebrity family so out of touch with reality and humanity that they're no longer anchored in the real world. But don't we contribute to that? We've tuned TV into a big version of YouTube. It's hard to find a show that doesn't have a camera pointed in the face of some quasi-celebrity as they stumble through their life. If it's embarassing, violent, graphic or looks like a train wreck, we'll tune in. At least Hulk Hogan's son understands this and knows he can profit. His parents should be ashamed. He's the result of everything he's been taught and shown by them.

I don't even understand why he is in jail. In 2000, my 20 year old daughter was in the car with a friend. They had both been drinking and decided to drive home on an icy road. My daughter was killed, but the driver was not hurt at all. The driver of that car did NOT go to jail, did NOT get punished in anyway and has NEVER apoligized or said a word to us about being sorry. Why is Nick in jail??????? Because he is a celebrity, that is the only reason. Lets be fair! Let him out and make him do community service or take his drivers license away from him, but quit punishing him because his dad is Hulk Hogan.

My opinion is he needs to man up, grow a set, and do his time. He got off easy compared to his friend who is ruined for life.
