depends on nationality... for caucasians though, I'd venture 12 ugly, 79 Average, and 9 good looking (really good looking)... but I'm pretty picky... ...and have you got the results back from the actual sampling you took, yet...? ;-)

At particular locations: St. Kilda Beach: mean = 40, stdev = 13; Brighton Beach: mean = 70, stddev = 8; Broadmeadows Shopping Centre: mean = 30, stddev = 5; Northcote Shopping Centre: mean = 40, stddev = 5; Melbourne CBD: mean = 60, std = 18; Shepparton: mean = 50, std = 10; Doncaster: mean = 20, std = 2; Glenferrie Daytime: mean = 50, std = 20; Glenferrie Nighttime: mean = 70, std = 8; So as one can clearly see, location, time and demographic plays a big part in the distribution of ugly/beautiful people.

Hmmm...Depending on where you pick them from, what location the come from, gender, etc. For example, you're going to find a lot nicer looking people in the city than--wait. Never mind. That's a bit prejudice. >.<

Does it really matter. Better yet out 100 people how many do you think would be stupid or gay or pick their nose in public? Or Jewish or Muslim? Or have body odor?

80% would be just average regular everyday types, 12% would be drop dead beautiful-handsome and 8% would need a bag on their heads.

The thing is that the answer would never be the same. All people have a different opinion about everything. Where as a girl might be hot for one guy, she might be average to another.

To be honest, I havent ever met like.. a REALLY UGLY person. Sure, some are more attracive than others, but it just takes a second glance to see what DOES look good in a person. Id say 80 of them would be average, 20 good looking. No uglies. =) Everyones gorgeous.

downright ugly. there is more to life then what a person looks like, if you have a wonderful personality and are a genuine person all the way around that make you mroe beautiful then the lack of persoanlity models and down right beautiful people that think that being beautiful is the most important thing in the world, when they have no personality at all and are just plan old boring.

That's a relative question, isn't it? Having lived in this area for far too long, I would assume that, out of 100, 50 would be kind of ugly to average 4/10 to 5/10, 20 would be more than average (6/10) 15 would be good-looking (7/10 and 8/10), only 5 would be gorgeous (9s and 10s), and the rest would be ugly (3 or lower). My statistics are VERY biased.

Your subjective question requires an equally subjective answer. To wit; We must first presume that the sampling is a true representation of the population. If that is the case, then we would have to assume that 25% would be obese, making them less likely candidates unless you are a chubby-chaser. Then we might want to remove the disabled,another 15% unless you find a limp to be sexy. Now we have to discount the 20% who are mentally ill, unless you enjoy hanging around with depressed people. Of the remaining 40%, half will be the opposite sex, so unless you are gay, you are now down to 20 people -- most of which will appear to be "average" looking. So your spouse or significant other probably was one of the remaining 2 or 3 that were good looking. By comparison, 2 or 3 must have been so ugly that they were never under consideration. However, this should provide hope to all those who think that they are "ugly". Apparently the ugly are as rare as MENSA candidates. ;-)

Everyone is close but there is a lot of ugly people. Ugly on the inside that makes them ugly on the outside. I've seen what I thought were ugly people but when I got to know them they became beautiful but I've seen what looked like a beautiful person and got to know them and they became very ugly inside and out.

With all do honesty, I don't care what they think, as long as I think the girl looking back at me is beautiful, nothing else matters.
