I need some help. I am thirteen, and I think I am pregnant. I don’t have enough money to go see a doctor, and if I did my parents would be notified. Aside from taking a pregnancy test, is there any way I can better tell whether or not I am pregnant?

Take a pregnancy test and go to a pregnancy crisis center or planned parenthood. Most of those places will test you and if you aren't pregnant, get you on birth control. Is there another adult you could talk to?

Umm, i feel you. I got pregnant at 15. I had an abortion. I regretted it. I now know it was wrong. And honestly, If I were you, I would tell your parents.. MY parents are the most disciplinary parents EVER!!! When they found out my sister got pregnant last year, they learned to accept it... You never know what will happen until you ask. She still has a life.. Social life, school, etc. I have friends who got pregnant and still graduated from high school. Please don't be dumb enough to get an abortion if you are pregnant. But maybe you should stay away from sex if you find out you are not.. and maybe consider it your warning. You are still their kid... And if they dont want you to have it, give it up for adoption.

Old question, I know. But yeah, take the pregnancy test. I just really wanted to say, I think it's so sad you have to pay to go and see a doctor.

Either buy a pregnancy test at the store. They are about ten dollars and very reliable if you do them right. You could also go to planned parenthood if you have one in your area and they will give you a blood pregnancy test so you will know for sure. They will not notify your parents and those are pretty cheap too

Firstly I just want to wish you good luck with whatever you decide to do. Secondly if you see a doctor they're legally not allowed to tell your parents despite your age, doctor / patient confidentiality. You really do need to get yourself a test, the modern ones are just as reliable as the doctor. In the Uk if you've taken a test some doctors wont even test you, they're that good. I'm really sorry you dont feel able to discuss it with your parents but I would recommend speaking to someone, & I would recommend someone who isnt religious as you need to make up your own mind about what to do without being put under any pressure.

What's wrong with taking a pregnancy test? No matter how hard your parents will take it, just tell them. Get it out of your system. AND NEXT TIME USE ABSTINENCE OR CONDOMS AT LEAST!!!

At some point you will have to tell someone, Its not something you can just put to the back of your mind and forget about!!!! it will be noticed! you have to tell your parents
