The NHL started in 1917, the NFL in 1920, and I'm only about 2 months younger than the NBA, so I'd say baseball.

Major league baseball was thriving during those pre-WW1 years. It had a major setback in when eight players on the Chicago White Sox threw the World Series to the Cincinnati Reds in 1919's "Black Sox Scandal".
