  • I text my BF all of the time with no reply. It doesnt bother me unless its something important and I "need" a reply.
  • Phone may have run outa battery, they needed to use loo, they got distracted by something e.g. fire or appetite, they forgot where they put their phone etc etc etc Or they don't like you :)
  • I figure they might be in the middle of something and can't. I get offended if they never respond to a message that would need a responce.
  • Yeah i could careless really. I mean if its something importanat them ill freak but i dont care really.
  • I don't get offended, because I take forever to text back, myself. I don't carry my phone around with me constantly. And I have a habit of starting a text, and getting distracted. People are used to it by now. Hmmm. I hope they aren't offended :| This question has just reminded me I need to text someone back....:)
  • I worry about it, but I've hsd issues with my phone that I had before not sending them and telling me that it did, so I wonder if the preson I sent it to got it.
  • It is not any different than if someone calls and I can not answer the phone and they leave a message and I take time getting back to them. Texting has given people a sense on instant urgency. But the fact is that there are other things going on and often a text message is intruding upon someones other activities. A person could be at school, at work, in the grocery store, on the phone, in a pool, eating dinner, on the toilet etc etc etc. There is no obligation to respond to a text, especially when it is inconveninetly timed. Just because someone has the time at the moment to text me, doesn't bear any impact on whether I have time or energy or an appropriate venue for responding. So, no I don't get offended. I find no reason to be offended. If my query is urgent, I will call the person. Otherwise, I will wait until it is appropriate and convenient for a response.
  • i dont worry about it it may mean they have no credit to.
  • text someone else
