I think I am sick. It seems like my throat is constantly dry though, which in turn makes me cough - but it is always a dry cough, and it makes me constantly thirsty or so it would seem. I am drinking plenty of fluids - what else should I do if anything?

If you have a dry cough you are living inland from the ocean. What I have done when I moved back to the Yukon from Vancouver and the Yukon is pratically a desert. I found my self stuffed up bad nose bleeds, dry cough and all these symptoms happend with in a week of moving back from the coast. I invested in a small humidifyer and my problems seem to have all but gone. I use a small amount of Vicks vapour rub and presto I was as good as new. The nose bleeds stopped and my cough has been minimized. All the best and I'm not sure where you are from but I do know it is not on the coast.

Gargle with salt and water, or drink apple cider vinegar. both are great for dry throats.
