  • ah, that's no fun. tips: wear sweat bands (like tennis players) on your wrists, bracelets, make-up, a tank top (to keep cool) with a very thin/flimsy long sleeve top that's for the beach or something - it'll let in more air. or try to spend more time in places where there's people you dont know. Maybe away from your family. Then you can wear whatever, not worry about your scars cuz you'll never see those people again. most of all, don't cut. Let those scars heal! Hey, i was a cutter myself. Email me if you wanna talk about it: how to stop; why; what to do . . .
  • i don't hide my scars
  • Hmmm... for starters, you might want to try not cutting yourself anymore. Call me a jerk if you must, but honestly-- for whatever reason, YOU chose to mutilate your body, and now you're complaining that it's inconvenient for you to have to hide what you've done.
  • It doesn't drop below 95 degrees all year here. However everybody wears long sleeves not only for protection from the sun but it is quite cool. The sweat doesn't evaporate easily and the slightest breeze is very refreshing. Don't be ashamed of cuts or scars that's who you are plain and simple. Enjoy Life.
  • i wear fishnet long sleeves when its really hot or bracelets, make up for me its not good because i cant find one that matches my skin and makes the scars more noticeable hmm i dont know i guess the best options are bracelets or wristbands, arm warmers are really good too, best of luck :)
  • I wear a sweater.. I live in Arizona and it gets over 100 degrees outside, I don't care though. Im barely outside anyway, I stay in the house because my broken leg.
  • just dont do it.. you will regret it later on in life.
  • i'm looking for an answer on how could i cover my scars too..about 3 years ago i fell & shattered my right arm so the doctors has to cut it open to fix my bones,.they left a huge scar from my elbow to upper part of my arm.oh and i used to cut too 3 years ago,i cut myself when i get really sad it felt good when u cut yourself because you can actually feel the pain feeling the actual pain is better than feeling the pain inside your heart and mind.i always wear long sleeves too & sweatshirts.i live in alaska but on summer time it gets really hot down here. anyways the only thing that i can think of is buy tight bright colorlongsleeves(when its hot) that shows your shoulder i think your gonna look sexy.tie your hair up.& wear sam accessories too.
  • if its the summer then perhaps you can get some henna tattoo. seriously if its all over your arms doing so will be tough. the only way is to simply stop. i know it doesnt sound as easy as that. go seek help. tell your fam if you need to. at the least they can avoid leaving you alone where you can hurt yourself
  • i wear them all the time, cos i dont want anybody to see. even if id stopped, i still have really bad scars that are noticeable, so thats not really an option. i guess you just have to wear really thin long sleeves, and hope you dont roast =/
  • when i used to cut myself i always wore long sleeves as well and when people asked y i just said bad circulation keeps me feeling cold! if you buy a fishnet top (or make a fishnet sleeve or something) tou can eart that under a short sleeved tshirt/top thats what i used to do and you couldnt see them unless you was really close (and who does that??) also if you wear trousers normally then instead of cutting your arms do your legs instead. thats what i did in the summer, when i was going on holiday and i was expected to swim i cut on my hip so it would be covered by my bikini bottoms, the length self harmers go to a?? if you are no longer self harming and its just scars. dont cover them. i know this is hard and soemtime embarasing but it really is nobody elses business. and people do not understand what they dont know!
  • fishnet, arm warmers work really well. or even change were you cut taking it from your arms and doing it on your legs so shorts will cover them. trust me on this one lower body hurts more then your arms. be/c with your legs the shorts brush against it and you lean just the right way you will feel the pain from the thigh more and sharper.
  • If you are a girl, maybe like bracelts? but i have done that before and it sometimes draws attention to that specific 'wrist' kind of area. umm one bandaid covering as much as possible? im sorry, i thought i would be more of a help, my ideas have ran away haha, good luck!
