My best friend is my best friend and wife. 42 years and still friendly.
-
We're close enough that the mother of a friend of hers was convinced she was going to leave her boyfriend to marry me.
-
My best friend and I are hetero-life partners. So it's totally cool if people mistake us for a married couple.
-
no, but there've been many that said we should date. this really scares me since both of us are guys...
-
No, b/c we're both women, but we have been mistaken for sisters and lesbians, lol
-
No but I am close with my brother, and people have thought this. :p
-
My best guy friend and I definitely have some hetero guy love, though we've never been mistaken for a gay couple. I guess that's good. A few female friends and I have been mistaken for a couple, but I think it's just because when people see one guy and one girl go out to dinner they assume they're going out. Video related, guy love.

Well some drunken dude mistook my husband for my boyfriend because we were not wearing any rings.
-
Haha ...no :-) !
-
Yeah, once I was at church and a lady asked me where my husband was. She thought that one of these guys who was my friend was my husband. Ummm. No.
-
When I spent a lot of time with a female co-worker years back, the rumor was that we were lesbians. Then when my divorced male boss and I were in an exercise room working out to Tony Little video tapes, we must be screwing each other too. I guess people had nothing better to talk about.

g'day Broken, Thanks for your question. No given that my best friend is a good. Regards
-
No, but a couple of the guys I was working with and I would talk to each other as if we were a married couple, bickering, bossing, and teasing each other in good fun. People would ask us "And how long have you two been together?"
-
My best friend is the same sex as me, but we're always mistaken for a couple out in public. We just go along with it most times, lol.
