  • Gain full custody? While I'm certainly not an expert on family law, I would have to think the mother of the child would need to be really terrible in order for a court to award full (or even partial) custody to a man who's been jailed and obviously isn't financially comfortable. Certainly in England, a court is much more likely to award custody to the mother simply because she's the mother -- so with the rest of your case I don't think it looks hopeful.
