My computer suddenly changed the font to Bold on all windows, I've tried adjusting my settings, but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

Try rolling back your PC using the restore function.

Reboot. Sounds like your graphics card has errored. Only solution is to refresh it by rebooting the machine.

This same thing happened to me. The rebooting and system go-back didn't work for me. I went into Control Panel and then to Appearances and Themes. Click on Diplay, then Appearance, then Effects. Under where it says "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" make sure it says ClearType and not Standard. That removed the bold for me, although the font itself changed, too - that's another project to work on!
