  • You could do one or more of a few things - not necessarily in this order: A) Move. B) Request your landlord to change the locks or make the door more secure, yourself. You could buy a new lock and install it OR you could have a locksmith do it. Either way, you'll have to give the landlord a spare key - just in case there is an emergency and the landlord or the landlord's agent needs to gain access. C) You could make the investment in a small surveillance camera with a recording device. When you get home, simply review the tape or footage. D) While you're at work or away from the unit, ask a friend or relative to stay in your place for a few days. E) Just to see if your suspicions are real, leave work early or don't go in.
