  • Technically you are supposed to give 2 weeks notice (yep even for a job you worked 2 days for) and go to work for those two weeks. You don't just go in and then decide good-bye and leave. You want that 2 day job on your resume and your job applications - leaving in good standings, after giving enough notice and working for that (at least until you have another job) will give you something better to put on your resume. Yes Training is a HUGE deal. Training is money out of pocket by the business that employs you. Not only are they paying for you to learn they are also paying the teacher as well. This is an investment that the company makes - they are investing in your education with the understanding that you will after training be a contributing asset to the company. Your cut and run attitude leads to them losing money - it may not seem like 'no big deal' to you, but then your irresponsible and selfish and frankly don't give a flying f*** about others. THAT is what your 'tude says BTW.
  • Call them and let them know you will not be continuing with training. There will always be people that don't work out and letting them know earlier rather than later is a good idea. I do not think you need to give 2 weeks notice as that would only cost them more money.
