Honestly, I truly do not mind being by myself, though there are certain aspects of a relationship I desire.

cause your life is going great and they want your to be more happy

Well on delicate matter as this, I would suggest next time someone tells you what to do with your life, get back at them with something along this line: Who the F*** do you think you are to tell me what I should f****** do or not F****** do!!! Mind your own F****** life!! Your F****** Cunt!!! It also can be applied to close relatives but might need some dubbing!!!

They believe that once you get a wife, that will be the cherry on the top of your success pie. Just take life at your own pace.

It is false sense of security they have about marital status and career success.

Its a discharge of duty. Once you are married you are your wife's problem (and vice versa) and your family are officially signed off from being next of kin / buckstop / bank / designated worriers when you're late home. Of course they would all be horrifically offended to have it put that way, they are more likely to recognise it as a faith that once you are married and settled you will truly be 'your own man' and fully mature. And lets face it, you've managed to fulfil their every expectation and hope so far, so maybe they are getting a little carried away. Tell them you plan to apply the same care and dedication to finding exactly the right girl, as you spent over the last X years attending to your education, and that when 'the one' turns up they will be the first to know. That should get them to back off?
