I have a chronic ankle injury. Why is it now though that whenever it rains or is cold that it hurts for no reason except for the fact that it may be raining or really cold. I can hardly move it tonight!!

Yes, I have the same thing. In the ankle as well. I've read up on this and pain tends to increase in the afflicted area or body part when barometric pressure falls. As in rain/precipitation. Also small effects from humidity, pressure, temperature, the amount of sunlight, or combinations of these can affect the pain level. This has not been a proven medical fact, but it hasnt been disproven either.
