Yes, and upon reflection I realized that I simply changed the way I looked at/felt about the burden. It lifted itself.

A change of attitude results in wonderful things, not the least of which is relieving the soul/spirit/emotion/intellect of "heavy" burdens, most of which are probably not real in the first place.

Yes, I call that fate. My neighbor calls me often and asks if I need something from the store. This saves me the trouble of shaving and showering and going out when the weather is bad.
