Am doing what I wanted to do since 1978 when I was 9 years old. Though, really, I like to call it 'job,' as career makes it sounds as if I attended and graduated a college.

I didn't plan anything, so no.

Nope. I didn't start out with any strong plans, but was very interested in becoming a nurse, but somehow ended up a computer database designer... not even close! But, I'm ending the IT career, which has been a good one, in July and going to take a long sabbatical and determine what the second half of life should be for me. :)

Yes, I did. However, now I have to find a new career because I hurt my back and can't do my old one any more.

No. I wanted to be an artist but, I found that I have no inspiration in meeting the creative demands of others. I am an administrative assistant who performs alot of accounting. I have not been trained in accounting. I find it a challenge but, still worry I could be replaced with someone with more experience.
