  • Yep. Oh my here we go: A friend of mine for about 8-10 years suddenly said: I think I'm bi. Just said it one day out of the ordinary. I just sorta stuttered a "What?" She explained. Then I admitted: "I think I am too." actually i was really thinking I'm gay. My other friend then said: "Hey you guys, i'm not joking, I was thinking about that last night. I think I'm bi." We were in a daze for like a day after that. How did that happen? So that's where we are now. Two bi girls, and one lez. Never woulda thot that in a million years
  • yeah. there was this girl i knew and people would call her a lesbian and she was so hurt by that. I felt really bad for her because she was kind of heavy and looked like a boy, not very attractive So when she came out i was surprised because....though it makes sense back then it didn't
  • I did. I knew her for about a year before I found out she is a lesbian. We're both 16 now. I was totally ok with it. Nothing changed, we're much closer now, and who knows what will happen in the future. She changed my mind about a lot of things. More specifically, she opened my mind about a lot of things. Her mom is gay too, she has a partner, who I've actually never met. But seeing first hand how normal it all is, well, it was different to what I thought it would be, they're a totally normal family, except they're more open about sexual issues I think. Anyway, yeah, I guess 1 year isn't that long, but it came as quite a shock. She's still my best friend.
  • Yes. From last September ('07) till last Christmas. To cut a long story short, well now she's my gf.
  • No, I have known about all of them, even before they admitted to it. It has never been a surprise to me.
  • -i had a friend in high school that i was sure was gay but he wasn't out, and when he came out to me it was a surprise only because he had fought so hard to make it known that he was straight. i told him i'd pretty much always known, it didn't make a difference to me. -i had another friend 4 years older than me, i thought he was cute, but there was something...er...less than stereotype manly about him, and one day we were just talking and it kind of came out in an odd way. i more expected him to be metro than gay but we kept in touch for ages. =) -2 of my best friends from elementary school...although i guess when you're in 4,5,6 grades you don't really notice any of that to begin with.
