Im pro-gay rights, but i still respect the pope. While he forbids gay relations he doesn't outright start a crusade against it. Some people are like that, so set in their ways, i dont hate him for it but i dont like him. So, yes i probably would go see the pope but i wouldn't grovel at his knees. I'd probably carry a pro-gay rights article of clothing with me to show that although i respect him by me coming there, i dont agree with him. I am not Catholic but i do recognize people who try to do good.

He's coming, and no. I am not Roman Catholic he holds no great spiritual place in my beliefs. However, I would like to talk to him one on one, perhaps a little polite debate? I could even do a bit of it in German!

A pope (Pope John Paull II) has already visited my place. Lots of people I know did go out of their way to see him. But not me, as I'm not Catholic.

No, just don't like crowds. Sen. Clinton visited about 2 miles down the road a couple months back. I had every opportunity to go, didn't. Not a political commentary, just with 2,000 or so was a touch too crowded for that small venue.
