My daughter suffered with this as a child. I read somewhere that if you apply Aloe Vera gel to the affected areas it is very good. I bought some and tried it on my daughter and it cleared up in about 3 days and has never returned. She may have outgrown the exzema, but I think it was the Aloe which cleared it. It's worth a try. Hope it helps you.

I am nineteen and have had eczema all my life! Sometimes its way bad and others ok. Eczema can get so bad you can tare your skin rigt open! When i get it I always run to the bathroom and put on lotion or aloe vera right away! It will burn but feel much better in a few minutes. I personally recomend when you get done showering or swimming make sure your drying yourself very well. Always Always after putting on the lotion wash your hands! Eczema is very very contagious and will spread easily upon youe body. :)

There is no cure for eczema. Seeking a cure displays a misunderstanding of eczema Eczema is dry, hypersensitive skin. The treatment for eczema, which is effective in 100% of cases, is copious, at least twice daily moisturization. Most people don't understand that the basis of treatment for eczema is moisturization, period, and that treatment does NOT end when the skin appearance and feel improves. Twice daily moisturization must continue when the symptoms clear up. There is no primary lesion in eczema. The 'rash' in eczema is caused by rubbing or scratching the skin. Skin that is kept well-moisturized doesn't itch. Skin that doesn't itch isn't rubbed/scratched, and stays clear. Don't seek acure, just keep it very well-moisturized. Most eczema greatly improves during puberty. Good luck!

There's no known medical cure for eczema. But FWIW, I had a problem with skin rashes when I was younger. I solved the problem by switching to "free & clear" type laundry detergents, Ivory soap, and other products free of pefumes, oils, and dyes.
