  • kevan, I was in your shoes all through my teens and early twenties. I was tall, so it was doubly frustrating. My nickname in high school was "Slats", and I was a varsity basketball player. I used to eat myself sick sometimes trying to gain an ounce. We are just programmed that way. You can buy weight-gaining supplements, but do not get ripped off. Eating a healthy diet is most important, regardless of the calories. And avoid sugars to gain weight. Not healthy at all. You do know that muscle weighs more than fat, right? Try some muscle-building exercises. And don't leave out aerobics,..very important. And get a good self-concept. Your "condition" will be of a great health advantage when you are older.
  • Well, you can just buy sugar. You can't get more "Extra sugar" than that. And you could buy lard. But yeah, you might be better off trying healthy stuff instead.
  • To answer your question, you can't get extra fat or extra sugar because you can always add those things to your food yourself, while it is impossible to take them out of food once they are present. That is why the need for "low fat, low sugar".
