Osama Bin Laden's role within Al Qaeda is that of financier, not planner or executor of those plans. The term "a group with links to Al Qaeda" usually means that they are suspected of having received funds from them.

Nope, they just started making videos about once a month (normally when there was a domestic crisis) and telling people that he was about to attack again. the Republican party rules by fear, and the promise that if you do what they tell you, you will be safe.
